Signing up for a Nexo account is quick and easy:

1. Open the Nexo platform or the Nexo app.
2. Complete your verification.
3. Buy or transfer crypto to your account.
4. You’re all set! You’re now earning daily interest on your digital assets.

Note: You’ll start earning interest the next day after your transfer. Keep in mind that, except for the NEXO Token and Nexo Staked ETH, assets used as collateral for our Instant Crypto Credit Lines will not earn interest. Learn more about our Earn product here.

Adding assets to your Nexo account is quick and easy. Here are the different ways to do it:

• Buy digital assets directly with your credit/debit card or directly with Apple Pay or Google Pay – our easiest and fastest option!
• Transfer digital assets from an external wallet by using your Nexo deposit address.
• Transfer funds from your bank account. EUR and GBP transfers are instant for banks that support SEPA Instant and Faster Payments, respectively. 

Your interest rate is determined by:

1. Your Loyalty tier, which in turn depends on the ratio of NEXO Tokens against the balance of other assets in your portfolio. The requirements for each tier are as follows:
   • Base: No NEXO Tokens are needed.
   • Silver: The ratio of NEXO Tokens against the rest of your portfolio must be at least 1%​​​​​​.
   • Gold: The ratio of NEXO Tokens against the rest of your portfolio must be at least 5%.
   • Platinum: The ratio of NEXO Tokens against the rest of your portfolio must be at least 10%.
2. The type of interest payout you choose:
   • Earning ‘in kind’ means you receive your interest payments in the currency you’re earning on.
   • Earning in NEXO means you receive interest payments in NEXO Tokens and benefit from an additional up to 2% interest.
3. The type of saving term: FLEX or Fixed. If you choose to create a Fixed Term, you’ll earn extra interest. Use the Fixed Term calculator above to see how your yield changes.

To receive the highest interest, you have to:

1. Become a Platinum Loyalty tier client by making sure the ratio of NEXO Tokens against the rest of your portfolio must be at least 10%.

Example:

Value of assets in your Nexo account: $10,000

Value of NEXO Tokens required for you to get the highest interest: min. of $1,000 in NEXO Tokens

2. Opt to earn your interest in NEXO Tokens for 2% additional interest.

To activate Earn in NEXO:

• Open the Nexo app.
• Enter your ‘Savings Hub’ and click on ‘Earn on Nexo’.
• Choose the ‘Interest Payout in NEXO Tokens’ option.

3. Create a Fixed Term for bonus interest. The highest you can get is for a 12-month Fixed Term, only available for the NEXO Token (+8% bonus) and EURx, USDx, and GBPx (+6% bonus).

To activate Fixed Term:

• Open the Nexo app.
• Enter your ‘Savings Hub’ and click on ‘Create Fixed Term’.
• Select onе of your available assets, and choose the period of the Fixed Term.

Some assets on the Nexo platform have balance limits for the Earn Crypto Interest product. This means that for each Loyalty tier for these assets, there are two yields you can earn.

The rate you receive is determined by the USD value of your holdings (balance) in the relevant asset, specifically, whether you are above or below the relevant balance limit. Higher Loyalty tiers give you the benefit of higher balance limits.
