After you create your account, you only need to buy or transfer crypto to your account.

How is interest paid out to my Nexo account?

Interest with Flexible Savings is paid out automatically every day to your account. The interest is credited to your Savings Wallet, where you begin earning on your holdings plus the accrued interest. This compounding effect helps you grow your portfolio faster.

How does earning daily differentiate from crypto staking?

Flexible Savings and crypto staking on Nexo offer unique ways to earn crypto, but they work differently:

Flexible Savings is available for over 40 assets and allows you to earn daily compound interest of up to 14% annually. The rates differ with the asset and depend on the Loyalty Tier. The interest can be paid in-kind or in NEXO Tokens based on your preferences.
Crypto staking, on the other hand, is only for ETH as it involves participating in the validation of the Ethereum blockchain. By staking your ETH, you help secure the network and earn in-kind rewards. The rates are independent of your Loyalty Tier, and vary based on the current yield, paid to validators.

How do I earn the highest interest rates?

To receive the highest interest, you need to:

1. Become a Platinum Loyalty Tier client by making sure the ratio of NEXO Tokens against the rest of your portfolio is at least 10%.

Note that a daily snapshot verifies your Loyalty Tier, which determines your current savings rate.

2. Opt to earn your interest in NEXO Tokens for 2% additional interest.

3. Earn bonus interest for a longer period with Fixed-term Savings.

What are the balance limits?

Some assets on the Nexo platform have balance limits. This means that for each Loyalty Tier for these assets, there are two yields you can earn. The rate you receive is determined by the USD value of your holdings in the relevant asset, specifically, whether you are above or below the relevant balance limit.
