What's New In June-July: Display Currencies, Low-Cost Network & More

New Display Currencies
Now you can have your Nexo app in EUR and GBP! The two new options allow you to denominate your portfolio balance, asset prices, and more in your preferred currency.
How to benefit: Complete the easy steps to make the switch.
- Tap on the “My Profile” section in the top left corner of your Nexo app.
- Select "Settings".
- Go to “Display Currency” and choose USD, EUR, or GBP.
A New Low-Cost Network
Welcome Avalanche C-Chain to our growing selection of low-cost blockchains. We charge no fees for transfers through the network and give you up to 12% interest on AVAX when you top up your Nexo account.
How to benefit: Topping up your Nexo account to start earning automatically is easy:
- Tap on the Wallet tab and select AVAX.
- Select “Top Up AVAX” and copy your deposit address.
- Choose the Avalanche C-Chain network in the third-party crypto wallet or exchange.
- Paste your deposit address and confirm the transfer. Your funds should arrive shortly.
Faster Route to USD, EUR & GBP
You can now purchase any of the three stablecoins directly with your card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Why do that instead of a bank transfer? Here are three reasons:
- It's easy: You don't need to enter any bank account details or exit the Nexo app.
- It's quick: You receive your funds immediately and start earning up to 15% interest even faster.
- It's rewarding: You get up to 0.5% cashback.
How to benefit: The flow should feel familiar if you’ve purchased crypto with a card before.
- Tap on the "Buy" button on the Nexo app dashboard.
- Select "Top Up FIATx" and choose your currency.
- Enter the amount, and authorize the payment.
Another Security Milestone
We successfully completed the SOC 2 Type 2 audit, conducted by A-LIGN, thus enhancing your asset and data protection even further. Becoming SOC 2 compliant is crucial for us as it fortifies our existing information security framework.
