The Final Dividend Worth $20 Million Has Been Distributed
The fourth and final Nexo Dividend worth $20,428,359.89 has now been distributed to all eligible NEXO Token holders. If you’re among those who received dividends, congratulations on getting your payout. Your earnings have been credited to your account, to see them simply log in and view your transactions.
As per our longstanding commitment to token holders, the June 16, 2021 payout comprises 30% of Nexo’s net profit for the financial period of June 30, 2020 - May 30 2021. With our business’s exponential growth in the last few months, the fourth Nexo Dividend demonstrates a 233% growth аs compared to the third distribution of $6,127,981.39 on August 15, 2020.
This dividend distribution is a result of our first Governance Vote – the new functionality that empowers you, the NEXO Token holders, to participate in important decisions and changes to the platform. Through the Governance Vote on June 8, the Nexo community indicated its preference for daily payouts of up to 12% APY on NEXO Tokens over dividends. To ensure investors were not adversely affected, we paid out our fourth and final dividend on June 16, 2021.
Following the final dividend, Nexo will continue to share its financial success with token holders through the Daily Interest program. The new scheme, which launched on June 8, 2021, makes the yield in NEXO tokens more regular, predictable and flexible. Overall, the Daily Interest program retains the fairness and inclusivity of our dividends, developing our native token’s untapped market potential and making it more accessible to our global user base, all while eradicating volatility around dividend dates which was a longstanding concern for our community.
