Send Crypto via Email or Phone
We start with the easiest way to send crypto across the globe.
Mitko: “Transferring crypto across the world is now as easy as sending a message. Whether your friends have Nexo accounts or not, you can make free crypto transfers. If you want to send a gift to someone abroad, for example, here’s how you can do it. First, choose an asset from the Wallet tab of your Nexo app. Then select Withdraw and tap the Email or Phone option. Enter your friend’s email address and specify the amount. Tap Withdraw and confirm the transfer."
Mitko: “If your friend doesn't have a Nexo account yet, he can register through the link sent to him. Once the transfer is claimed, they can start earning, borrowing, and utilizing their assets on Nexo. So if you want to make someone’s day special or simply want to send crypto at no cost, you now have a new way of doing it. ”
New Display Currencies
As our community grows, we strive to make your experience feel even more familiar. Find out about the latest currencies we added to Nexo.
Mitko: “Last month, we introduced seven new display currencies in which you can view your portfolio balance, asset prices, and more. To choose yours, go to the My Profile section of your Nexo app. Select App settings, and scroll down to Display Currency. Make your pick and go to the app dashboard to see the difference.”
Mitko: “Additionally, your credit or debit card crypto purchases can be completed in your card’s default currency. For example, if your card is issued in Argentina you can buy Bitcoin by paying with pesos. Quick and easy as all crypto should be.”
Anti-Phishing Code
Last but not least, we've introduced a security feature that can help you identify malicious phishing attempts.
Mitko: “At Nexo, we take extensive measures to ensure your account remains safe. The latest feature we’ve introduced to help is the Anti-Phishing Code. It will help you verify all emails you receive from Nexo and quickly recognize potential phishing attempts."
Mitko: “To enable it, simply go to your profile and open the Security settings. Select the feature and enter your code. Once you do that, the code will be visible at the bottom of all official emails from Nexo. Thank you for taking the time to improve your email security. Remember that staying alert is key for a safe crypto journey.”
