Who is eligible to participate?

The Referral Program is open to clients worldwide. If either party is a US resident, the US Referral Program rules and rewards apply to both. Otherwise, the referral tasks and rewards are governed by the country of residence of the referrer.

When does my 45-day window start?

Your window starts when you sign up using your friend's referral link.

How are my rewards calculated?

Each of the three activities — adding funds, borrowing, and exchanging — pays out independently at the tier you reach. You can qualify at different tiers for different activities. Both you and your friend receive the same reward for each completed activity. For example, if you add $120,000, borrow $30,000, and exchange $8,000:
  • Adding $120,000 makes you eligible for a Tier 3 reward ($100,000 or more), as long as you maintain this average balance throughout the holding period. Your reward would be $100.
  • Borrowing $30,000 makes you eligible for a Tier 2 reward ($25,000–$99,999). Your reward would be $150.
  • Exchanging $8,000 makes you eligible for a Tier 1 reward ($5,000–$24,999). Your reward would be $25.
  • Total: $275 in NEXO Tokens — and your friend receives the same.
    • The maximum reward per person is $600 in NEXO Tokens, achieved by reaching Tier 3 across all three activities.

When and how are rewards paid?

Rewards are paid in NEXO Tokens within one hour of your 45-day window closing. They are credited directly to your Nexo account.

Does the referral program include Yield products?

No. The three qualifying activities are adding funds, borrowing via the Credit Line, and exchanging on the Nexo Exchange. Using Nexo’s Flexible Yield or Fixed-term Yield products does not count toward any reward threshold.

What counts toward the exchange threshold?

Eligible exchange volume includes crypto-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat trading pairs on the Nexo Exchange. Stablecoin-to-fiat pairs such as USDC/USD and USDT/USD do not count toward the threshold.

What counts toward the borrowing threshold?

A minimum first Credit Line withdrawal of $5,000 is required to qualify for a reward. Subsequent withdrawals do not count toward the threshold. Nexo Credit Card purchases are excluded.

Does my friend see my activity?

Your friend can see your progress across the three qualifying activities from their Nexo app — but not the value of your individual transactions.
